Stars alumni are well represented in this year’s post season Junior playoffs.  Fourrteen former players are currently participating or were involved in post season play.

Ryan Daugherty (2007), CJ Ludwig (2006/7), and Anthony Hamburg (2007/8) are playing for the Omaha Lancers in their semi-final matchup against the Fargo Force.  Chase Grant (2006/7) is in his second season with the Force.

On the other side of the bracket, Blake Coleman (2007/8) plays for the Indianapolis Ice who are playing the Green Bay Gamblers for a spot in the USHL championship series.

Bryce Johnson (2007/8), Micheal Hill (2008), and Corey Ramsey (2008) are playing for the Topeka Roadrunners who are currently battling in the quarter-final round against the St. Louis Bandits where former Star Kevin Zehnder (2007/8) plays. 

Armand Deswardt (2006/7) plays for the Wenatchee Wild who are currently playing Fairbanks Alaska for a spot in the Semi-Final round.

In earlier playoff action Joe Adams (2007/8), Justin Jones (2007/8) and Axel Boyer (2008), playing for the Texas Tornado, dropped a game 5 overtime loss to the St. Louis Bandits.

Earlier this season Trevor Gerling (2007), playing for the Langley Chiefs, lost to the Powell River Kings in the Conference Semi-Finals.

Adam Brown (2007), playing goalie for the Kewlona Rockets made it to the quarter-final round of the playoffs losing to the Tri-City Americans.
