Blake was born in Plano, TX and started playing travel hockey at age 5 in Dallas.  His youth hockey career started with the DJHA Penguins, followed by several years with the Dallas Alliance organization, one year in Detroit with Belle Tire, and the last two years with the Stars.

His hockey highlights include:
·   2008 5^th Place at Tier 1 Nationals with Dallas Stars Midget Major AAA
·   2007 Tier I National Championship with Belle Tire Midget Major AAA
·   2007 Michigan State Champions with Belle Tire Midget Major AAA
·   2005 7^th place at Tier I Nationals with Alliance Bantam AAA
·   2004 3^rd place at Tier II National with Alliance PeeWee AA
·    Four consecutive appearances at USA Hockey National Festival

Away from the hockey rink:
Blake is a junior at Spring Creek Academy in Plano, TX and enjoys following all sports when not on the ice playing hockey.  He has two older brothers Jeff & Kevin, and two sisters, Lauren & Brooke.

Future Plans:
He looks forward to the chance of continuing his hockey at the Junior level next year.
