Worth Noting
Joe was born in Orange, CA and played his youth hockey with the Jr. Ducks, Jr. Kings and LA Selects until his move to Dallas in 2007 to play for the Stars. His younger brother Jacob and his parents still reside in Orange, CA. His hockey highlights include: In 2006 Joe played for the LA Selects Bantam Major AAA team winning the USA Hockey Tier 1 National Championship in Rochester, NY. Last year he was a solid contributor on the Stars Texas State championship, Rocky Mountain Regional Champion, and quarter-final finish at the USA Hockey Midget Major Tier 1 Nationals in Buffalo, NY. Away from the hockey rink: Joe excels as a 4.0 honor student and grew up playing competitive football and volleyball in California.
