Bryce was born in Des Moines, IA where his family still resides. He started playing travel hockey at the age of 7 for The Des Moines Jr. Buccaneers. Prior to last season with the Stars, he played for the Ohio Jr. BlueJackets AAA, the Des Moines Capitals and Des Moines Jr. Bucaneers.

2008 5th Place at Tier 1 Nationals with Dallas Stars Midget Major2008 Rocky Mountain Regional Champs with Dallas Stars Midget Major 2007 MVP at Buffalo Saints Tournament with Ohio Blue Jackets AAA 2006-7 Midwest Hockey League All-Star Team
Away from the hockey rink:
Bryce is an Honors student, currently attending Coppell High School in Coppell, TX and enjoys playing golf, snowboarding, and skiing.
Future Plans:
Bryce looks forward to playing Junior hockey next year and for a Division 1 Collegiate team thereafter.
